So I've decided to open shop for commissions. It may mean I actually submit another deviation before Christmas. Anyway, if anyone's interest here are my terms. (Send me a note if you've any questions - I may be flexible!)

TERMS

Price quotes will vary depending on character(s), setting, props, etc.

Commissions must be paid 50% up-front with remaining 50% paid after approval of a preliminary pencil sketch. PayPal only. No cheques or cash.

No design work – please limit commission requests to existing, pre-established, published characters/subjects. I do not have the time to work on original, fan fiction, creator-owned characters.

For the foreseeable future, taking on a commission will be at my personal discretion and preference.

Contact me with a Note on DA – I will not respond to Comments. All subsequent communication must then be made by email.

Original artwork/hard copies are not currently available – email only.

Unless specified, background work will be relatively simple.

Following completion of a commission, a lower-res copy will be posted in my DA Gallery.


APPROXIMATE RATES*

Black and white (Photoshop): $30USD - $100USD (Example:[link])

Colour (Photoshop): $40USD - $100USD (Examples: [link] [link])

*Actual price quotes will vary depending on the character(s), setting, etc. For example, several characters or a detailed background will cost more than $40. Please send a Note with what you have in mind for a more accurate rate.


WANT TO COMMISSION ME?

Send me a Note on DA with a general idea of what you want and I’ll reply with a price quote (unless I need more information from you).

If you’re okay with the price quote, please confirm immediately via email. If you do not confirm via email, I’ll assume that you’re not interested. In this email, please detail exactly what you want in the commissioned piece (character, style, even a pose, etc.).

Commissions must be paid 50% up-front and 50% after approval of a preliminary pencil sketch. Once 50% of payment has been made, I’ll set to work on the preliminary sketch and e-mail you a low-resolution scan. If you’re happy with the sketch, the remaining balance must be paid and the finished hi-res image will be emailed to you as soon as possible.

If you are not happy with the preliminary sketch, please say so immediately and I will alter the sketch to your request – this can be done twice, maximum. If you are still not happy, consider the commission closed – the remaining balance will not be due and there will be no refund on the first 50% payment.
